Only a Heart devoted solely to the Truth and aligned with it can break free of one’s internal boundaries
The relative realm is divided into multiple dimensions, each with its own hierarchical order. The dimensions described in theosophy, Dante's Divine Comedy, and other spiritual texts do, in fact, exist. If you dismiss these as mere fantasies, your chances of awakening diminish. In a life of comfort, harmony, and the belief that "all is one," you cannot awaken. Only a cold, relentless pursuit of what is true can lead to your salvation. The archetype of the soul exists in the Absolute Realm. It is distant from the image of the ideal human being as we conceive it. The soul is not human. The soul is fullness. To perceive the Absolute beyond the confines of our limited awareness and the relative plane, we must one day transcend our identification as merely human. For most beings, that moment is met with resistance or outright rejection.
The Absolute Realm is not a static state. It is absolute in the sense of wholeness and perfection, an archetypal realm of being. This Absolute may also be called the Pleroma or the ultimate home. However, false heavens and idealized utopias that mimic the Absolute only serve to blind us. If there is a place where you can arrive without surrendering anything, merely by avoiding sin and living a "good" life, it is not the Absolute. Living an ordinary existence and avoiding excessive greed does not make one virtuous.
Simply remaining ignorant of truth is itself a form of sin, and defining oneself through such limited, narrow perceptions is an act of arrogance. Truly virtuous beings recognize their own lack of virtue. But what about you? Are you secretly thinking to yourself, "I'm good enough, I’ll be fine"? That is not self-possession or self-worth—it is arrogance and duality. True virtue is none of these things.
If the truth could be defined in words, it might be described as possessing the qualities of authenticity, goodness, and beauty. The faint shadow of these qualities is what has been recreated in the forms of religion, philosophy, and art. Each of these disciplines has taken the authentic, the good, and the beautiful from the Absolute and fashioned their own lights to guide others.
However, we must look beyond our own internal filters of perception and opinion to discover true authenticity, goodness, and beauty. Anyone who has truly glimpsed one of these qualities cannot stand to place themselves at the center, for they will have realized that their own existence is the greatest obstacle to the full expression of these truths.
Yet, most of us fail to go beyond the confines of our own perspective, and glimpses of authenticity evaporate like dust in the wind. While embedded in the prison of our own perceptions, it is impossible to encounter any true authenticity. Like Israel’s Iron Dome, our minds intercept and deflect all moments of truth before they can reach us.
And yet, moments of recognition of the Absolute and authenticity do arise. These occur because something allows us to transcend our cognitive filters and states of mind. That something is not mere emotion; it is love—it is the heart. Here, I must clarify that this love is not “agape” or any other easily categorized notion. It is an ineffable something, profoundly clear and undeniable. Only a Heart devoted solely to the Truth and aligned with it can break free of one’s internal boundaries and step beyond perception itself.
Therefore, before embarking on the path, you must examine yourself deeply—how much do you truly wish to awaken, and why do you wish to awaken? You must honestly reflect on how strongly you wish to hold on to your desires, narcissism, escapism, and the disjointed phenomena within you. Otherwise, in the crucial moments, you will become like Pilate, who handed Jesus over to the raging, maddened crowd, endlessly trying to wash your hands of the matter hundreds of times.
The reason you cannot awaken rests solely within you.
Even if the Buddha were to descend tens of thousands of times,
even if countless enlightened beings were to descend simultaneously,
even if Jesus were to walk on water thousands of times—if you do not truly desire it, no one can awaken you.
If you would rather be the fool who laughs, claiming it's entertaining, while covered in filth,
or the child sucking on candy while sitting in a burning room,
or the old philosopher pretending to be contemplative, having indulged in all the pleasures life has to offer—then by all means, do so.
Who will stop you?
The only one who can stop you is yourself.
No matter how dark the times may be, the light of awakening continues to shine with the vitality of life. Even now, in the depths of the darkest caves, where spirits have lost themselves, the light patiently waits for them to rediscover themselves.
