4. Rational Ego & 5. Super Ego

4. Rational Ego

The rational ego is what we commonly recognize as ourselves and our thoughts. The rational ego is an evolved program designed for socialization. With the primal ego alone, the sophisticated operation of the universe would be impossible; control would only be achievable through fear and terror. As the rational ego develops, the concepts within the mind begin to dominate one's existence. Collective consciousness and the unconsciousness exert a more refined influence on the rational ego, instilling a strong illusion of self-awareness, self-assertion, and free will. This ensures that the rational ego dedicates itself entirely to making God and the universe exist. Thus, tailored control of each individual becomes possible.

While rational thought is generally held in high regard, from the perspective of truth, rational thinking is profoundly ignorant. It may appear as though individuals are pursuing personal goals, but in truth, they have no idea where they are going. People may seem to hold their own opinions, but these opinions are, in fact, implanted into them through the unconscious. To achieve the collective sense of purpose more gracefully, the Creator ensures that each rational consciousness strongly perceives itself as the protagonist of the world.

As a result, humans maintain a sense of self-centeredness even in the most extreme circumstances. However, what we fail to realize is this: self-centeredness never existed to begin with, and all human activity ultimately exists for God. So long as self-centeredness is deeply rooted within us, the odds of humans correctly recognizing their situation and awakening to the truth are significantly diminished. When individuals convince themselves that everything has been prepared for their benefit, they feel no further need to think critically. Instead, they regain their emotional stability, sinking back into a state of complacency.

5. Super Ego

The super ego emerges in situations where the well-developed rational ego finds itself unable to maintain control. This is distinct from the Lucifer consciousness. The super ego is the ego of all egos.

It primarily exerts control over the individual in the form of a voice of thought. In particular, it uses self-criticism and self-punishment to keep the individual under its control. The super ego can be seen as a form of fragmented self-state. Through the super ego, humans relentlessly keep their internal programs running without a moment's rest.

Most people have likely experienced moments of exhaustion from the self-critical thoughts arising in their minds. These thoughts continuously speak to you as if they are you, as if they know everything about you. Phrases such as "You should have done it this way, you should have done it that way, you’re not good enough," perpetually nag the individual. These reprimanding voices prevent humans from rising beyond their limits, keeping them trapped in an endless hamster wheel.

The commonality between the rational ego and the super ego lies in their meticulous and personalized control over the individual. Only when we transcend these constructs can we begin to discover who we truly are.
